At Mercedes-Benz fashion week today, I kept my eyes on classic style on and off the runway. Personal style is always in fashion, which is why I sought out those who rocked a classic and timeless, yet modern (it’s fashion week after all) look.Kristina Bazan of Kayture.com put together a stunning ensemble that featured a vintage Chanel purse and maroon pleated skirt, paired with a sheer lace top. My friend Celia Smith wore a chic white silk blouse—appropriate attire for the humid temps—and classic Ray-Ban sunnies to boot. (Follow my #classicstyle posts on Instagram, here.) Julia Hengel of GalMeetsGlam.com, pictured above, stole the street style show with a winning colorful combination: a yellow blouse with a black tie and a striking blue peplum skirt.
